About:

On Saturday, April 21, 2018, the John F. Kennedy Middle School Builders Club visited the Town of Oyster Bay Animal Shelter. Prior to the visit, the club organized a collection of pet food, treats, and toys as well as old towels for the animals’ cages. The students also made frozen pet treats, including Dixie cups of peanut butter, yogurt, and applesauce. The dogs loved them! At the shelter, the students saw several cats, dogs, and a pair of two-week old kittens! It was a fun and great experience for everyone!
